Hospital Auxiliary Elects Officers
The Litzenberg Hospital Auxiliary has new officers for 2008. They were honored along with retiring president Barbara Blauhorn and installed at the December Appreciation Tea. The new officers are: President, Jeanene Vosicky; Vice President, Norma Husmann; Secretary, Jan Henk and Treasurer, Diana Holtorf.
Also at the Appreciation Tea, the Auxiliary presented Mike Bowman, Hospital Administrator, a check for $30,000 to help pay for our new portable x-ray machine, which replaces a 30-year-old model.
New Services Available at Litzenberg
Two new services now available at Litzenberg are Bone Density Scans, a quick, painless test that measures bone density and PET/CT Scans, a test pinpointing cell activity and an anatomical reference for where the activity occurs. Ask your doctor for a referral. Click on the link to learn more.
Annual Litzenberg Golf Tournament September 19th
The annual Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital Golf Tournament will be held September 19, 2008, at Valley View Country Club south of Central City. For more information about sponsoring or playing in this event, call Carol Bull at 308-946-3015.
